Data Deletion Policy & Instructions

VelorOps respects your privacy and control over your data. In compliance with Meta Platform Policies, we provide our users with clear instructions on how to disconnect their social accounts and request the deletion of all data stored in our database.

How to Disconnect Facebook Integration

If you want to remove the VelorOps integration from your Facebook account, you can do so directly via Facebook settings:

  1. Go to your Facebook Profile's Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  2. Navigate to Business Integrations (or search for it in your settings search bar).
  3. Find VelorOps (or the custom integration name associated with your workspace).
  4. Click Remove.
  5. Confirm the deletion. This will instantly revoke our OAuth access tokens and stop all local publishing daemon actions for those pages.

How to Request Full Account Data Deletion

When you disconnect or remove the app from Facebook, Facebook sends an automated data deletion request webhook to our servers. We automatically trigger account wiping in compliance with these requests.

Alternatively, you can request a manual deletion of all your personal information, tokens, uploaded media, and workspaces from our servers by following these steps:

  1. Send an email to deletion@velorops.com or message our WhatsApp Support.
  2. Provide your registered account email (e.g. the email you use to sign in via Clerk).
  3. Our support team will process your request and completely wipe your database record, encrypted access tokens, uploaded videos, and session history from our MongoDB databases within 24 to 48 hours.
  4. Once completed, you will receive a confirmation email indicating that all your data has been permanently deleted from our servers.

Data We Delete

Upon receiving a deletion request, we permanently wipe the following data:

  • Your User Profile (name, email, unique Clerk ID).
  • All encrypted Facebook OAuth tokens.
  • All uploaded media files and directories from our storage drives.
  • All historical logs of scheduling, live streams, and publishing attempts.
  • All linked workspaces and membership roles.
