Part 1: Facebook App Configuration

To make your Facebook Login and API integration work, you need to paste the correct URLs from your website (app.velorops.com) into the Meta Developer Dashboard.

1. Basic Settings (App Settings > Basic)

Go to the Basic Settings of your app and fill in these exact details:

  • App Domains: velorops.com
  • Privacy Policy URL: https://velorops.com/privacy
  • Terms of Service URL: https://velorops.com/terms
  • User Data Deletion: https://velorops.com/data-deletion
  • Site URL (Add Platform > Website): https://app.velorops.com/

2. Facebook Login Settings (Use cases > Customize > Settings)

If you are using Facebook Login, you must whitelist your callback URL so Facebook knows it is safe to redirect users back to your site.

  • Valid OAuth Redirect URIs: https://app.velorops.com/api/facebook/callback

(Ensure "Enforce HTTPS" and "Strict Mode" are enabled here).

3. Required Permissions (App Review > Permissions and Features)

Search for these permissions and click Request Advanced Access:

  • public_profile & email: For user login.
  • pages_show_list: To show the pages you admin.
  • pages_read_engagement: To read page data.
  • pages_manage_posts: (CRITICAL) To publish and schedule posts to your pages.
